Played Outfield for the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes Class High A team at the end of '05 season and the '06 season. Promoted to Double A affiliate Little Rock, Arkansas Travelers for 2007.

Dual Sport athlete for Red Raiders Football/Baseball. 2005 earned Big 12 Honors in Baseball and was named Texas Tech Student Athlete of the Year. Career batting avg. of .322 and stole over 80 bases. Drafted by the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in June of '05.

Played at Smithson Valley (center field and pitcher) and twice received 1st Team All-State Honors. Played for the state championship senior year. Earned football scholarship to Texas Tech.
